About Me

My name is Carina, Spanish is my native language, and I have been teaching Spanish for more than 15 years in Berlin, Liverpool, A Coruña and Córdoba — in schools as well as in courses for children, teenagers and adults.

What defines my teaching:

  • I know from personal experience what it means to learn a language from scratch at different stages of life — I speak 7 languages.

  • I know how to keep a language alive when you are no longer surrounded by it every day.

  • I know how difficult it can be to pass on your own language to your children while living abroad, and how to teach language as part of identity, family and everyday life.

My qualification

  • Teacher Training Degree in Spanish in Berlin (Master of Education)

  • Postgraduate Studies in Spanish with Teaching Qualification Recognition (Certificado de Aptitud Pedagógica, CAP)

  • Recognition as a Qualified Teacher of English

  • More than six weeks of professional development and continuing education, including training in innovative teaching methods

Learning Starts With Love!

We focus on emotional and social development just as much as academics. Our teachers guide children to explore, ask questions, and celebrate progress at their own pace.

What Matters to Me:

  • Spanish is more than a language spoken in over 20 countries - it is a gateway to a fascinating culture and to hundreds of millions of warm and welcoming people.

  • Because we learn best through emotion, experiencing the language and culture is central to my teaching.

  • For young learners, Spanish creates real opportunities for the future - from exchanges and studies to working abroad.

Where learning begins with joy.
